About You

  • Minimum 5 years local experience in commercial fit-out and refurbishment
  • Advanced working knowledge of Revit & Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proven experience in interior design with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects
  • Knowledge of current trends, materials, and innovations in interior design
  • Strong understanding of construction and buildability
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Customer service focused: committed to providing exceptional customer service across all channels – written, phone and face to face
  • Communication: the ability to communicate and present clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience
  • Excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally

The Role

The primary role of the Senior Interior Designer is to develop creative and functional interior design concepts that align with our client’s needs, project goals, and industry trends. The Senior Interior Designer will work closely with clients, subcontractors and our internal delivery team to ensure seamless integration of interior design elements into overall project. They will research and select appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings that meet aesthetic and performance criteria while adhering to budgetary constraints. The Senior Interior Designer will prepare and deliver compelling presentations to clients, effectively communicating design concepts and solutions. They will also create detailed interior design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules, to facilitate project implementation. Reporting to our Design Director, the roles and responsibilities for this position will encompass the following:

  • Business Development:
    • Attend client meetings
    • Take & develop briefs
    • Attend tender interviews
    • Develop return brief
  • Project delivery:
    • Develop sketch plans in response to client brief
    • Concept design presentations: Designed in alignment with inhouse template
    • VE preparation, review and assistance
  • Design delivery:
    • Site measure
    • Client sign off
    • PCA approval
    • Select project materials
    • Design in 3D
    • Integration of Services consultant drawings
    • Review shop drawings
    • Manage external documentation on projects
    • As built documentation
    • Quality control
    • PCF attendance including internal meeting with PM and site team to resolve RFIs
    • Client presentations / Page turns
    • Maintain project objectives, budget & programme
    • FF&E
    • Sample boards
